From a mould drawing to a palletised container. a1 Snack Lab runs the same certified gummy lines for its own brand and for private label, so an own-brand project is not a smaller or slower version of the factory — it is the factory.
The starting point is a shelf problem, not a catalogue number: what the product has to do in the channel it will sit in. From there the project is specified across five layers, each of which is agreed before a sample is made.
Every project follows the same sequence. Nothing moves to production until the specification is signed off, because a mould or a formula change after that point costs time in both directions.
The facility holds FSSC 22000, BRC, HACCP, HALAL and BSCI certification, and the confectionery site is an FDA-registered food facility for US-bound shipments. Testing runs through an in-house CNAS-accredited laboratory.
Functional gummies are positioned as concepts. Collagen, GABA, vitamin C, lutein+DHA, zinc and calcium are written as positioning, not as treatment — final on-pack claims always follow the regulations of each target market, and the wording is reviewed with your team before artwork is released.
MOQ is 500 cartons per SKU, with 200 cartons available for test orders and new markets. Samples are arranged at the quotation step, once the concept, the market and the pack format are known. Lead time is confirmed per project after specification lock, because it depends on whether a new mould is involved.
